in february, i attended my first fashion week, and it owes me nothing. i came. i saw. i slayed. my second new york fashion week was one for the books. i knew better than to try to arrive on time, so we came in early on thursday.
grandma, we made it ✨
black slip dress |sparkle boots | sunglasses | bag
i strutted the streets representing my legendary fashion house of comme des garçon before things got started. the arturi sparkle boots did garcon proud, legs for days and dreams for nights.
blazer | skirt | shoes | bag | sunglasses | earrings
on my grandmama, i had to bring polk county with me with the mango ORAAANNNJJJ ensemble. and for a pop of relief, the white jacquemus bag was the perfect size for on-the-go galavanting. i had to get my skin out for the last sundrops of summer. wasn’t nothing edible, but mango’s blazer and skirt combo definitely ate.
top | shoes | pants | bag | headpiece
the confidence continued in my late afternoon look with a more modest, yet eye-catching look. the headpiece was serving high priestess of thotlandia thanks to amazon. the crystal cup top was a nice embellishment, and the pants were the pop of color and flowy functionality needed for casually strolling and strutting the new york streets.
from no top to crop top, showing off my skin is one way how i celebrate my body. wearing bright colors starts the party with you.

don’t sleep on comfy ensembles! i love a good coordinating set. from sleepwear to streetwear. who says pajamas can’t be chic?
earrings | top | jeans | shoes | bag
this denim on denim ensemble from mango was one of my favorite looks. the top and jeans were giving trendy casual, and the blazer that i threw on later in the day and pumps gave a dash of boss lady.
second NYFW down and many more to go. i’m so proud to be here. see more pictures below:
