it all started when i was diagnosed with breast cancer. surgery and chemotherapy were a b*tch to get through, and i found myself losing track of the days. i decided to boss up and do something about it.
after doing some research on healthy habits, i found hal elrod’s miracle morning. his routine is pretty regimented, but gives a great outline of how to set your day up for success.
i’m the kinda girl who always puts a twist on a recipe.
so i created my own self-care morning routine. it gave me something to look forward to and motivated me to get the hell outta bed while treating cancer. over the years, i’ve kept my routine because it has helped me build healthy habits like meditating.
