if you’ve been following me for awhile, then you know i love bathtime. it’s the perfect way to clear my mind and relax after a long day.
given my love for a nice long bath, i was super excited when osea reached out about trying their new bath and body products.
READ: My Favorite Skincare Products from Osea
osea is a company with a mission. it’s woman owned and all their products are vegan, cruelty-free and non-GMO. the real beauty in their brand is the usda certified organic seaweed trio used as the base in the majority of their products.
seaweed is one of the most abundant sources of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that exists. i can’t think of a better way to treat your skin than with this superfood.
knowing how well osea’s skincare line has performed on my face, the bar was set pretty high for their bath and body products. of course, they didn’t disappoint.
How to Amp Up Your Bathtime with Osea
step one to amping up your bathtime is getting bae and the kids out of your personal space. you can’t set your vibe with folks in your face, and trust me good vibes are vital to relaxation
personally, i like to do the most in my self-care routine, including setting a romantic scene. think of it as a date night — with yourself.
on this sunday night, i lit some candles, put on the new beyoncé and jay z album and ran a bath.
next, i dropped a few scoops of osea’s gigartina therapy bath into the water and got excited. this mineral bath soak is made from organic gigartina seaweed with a dash of lavender and plumeria. the soak mostly dissolves and smells soooo good.
in order to truly decompress, i have a no social media rule during my bathtime. it’s literally the perfect time to unplug and also catch up on some reading. this sunday i read the entire summer issue of kinfolk cover to cover.
after bathing with my favorite all-natural soap, i put osea’s undaria body polish to the test. i love how this product exfoliates and moisturizes your skin without being greasy.
my skin is super dry so body oils are my jam. i used the undaria algae oil while my skin was still moist and love the thick texture. believe it or not it also contains algae, a great antioxidant. pro tip: be careful with the pump on this product. since the oil is a bit thick you have to apply a good amount of pressure for it to dispense.
i’ve honestly been struggling with major anxiety lately and setting good intentions during the weekend really helps to keep me calm. plus, osea’s sustainable mission, commitment to non-toxic ingredients and thoughtful formulas make their products a great way to amp up my bathtime.
