i’ve had the ace hotel on my radar since last year. we visited the palm springs location and fell in love — it’s where all the cool kids hang out.
much like palm springs, the new orleans hotel doesn’t disappoint. it’s in the warehouse district, a hip part of town with shops and restaurants. overall, our stay was perfect. read below for my top five faves about the hotel.

the customer service is excellent
words can’t describe how awesome the ace staff are. they greeted us with sincere smiles and gave excellent recommendations. on the last night of our stay, there was an issue with a pipe in another room. we mentioned the noise and the front desk manager comped the night without hesitation. i’ve honestly never enjoyed chatting with staff anywhere as much as the ace. it’s kinda like cheers.

the rooftop pool is the place to be
since i’m from a warm climate, i’m honestly not easily impressed by pool scenes. however, the ace pool is everything. there were literally people waiting to get in at 10 am. i know what you’re thinking — it’s in the middle of new orleans. exactly! you won’t believe how beautifully the space is transformed into what feels like a tropical paradise.

the rooms are delightful
we booked a double, and it was huge. the rooms have a retro decor with a kinda moody vibe (think mad men with shadows). the ace was my second hotel during the trip, and definitely the most comfortable. the little tidbits of decor are super cute too: retro radio, magazines and fully stocked retro fridge.

the restaurants and bars are top notch
there are three bars total and the drinks are bomb. the restaurant has great reviews, and i’m disappointed we didn’t have a chance to actually eat there. we had lunch at the pool though and it was delicious.
5. you don’t have to leave the hotel to have a blast
one of the best things about the ace is that you don’t have to leave to have a good time. aside from the restaurant and bars, the hotel also has a dance floor, art gallery and coffee shop. plus, there’s live music (because, new orleans) that we jammed to. be sure to check out the full calendar of activities each month for guests to enjoy.
make the ace your home away from home during your next visit to new orleans. you’ll love the neighborhood and can’t go wrong with the accommodations. tell them i said “hey girl hey.”
this post was created in collaboration with the ace hotel new orleans; however, all opinions are my own. thank you in advance for supporting the brands that support politics & fashion.
I’m definitely going to make it a bucket list item!

I agree with all your points. Ace Hotel New Orleans is great and I could not imagine a better way to describe it “Man Man w. shadows”!
