hey lovelies, i’m on vacation this week and thought i’d share more pictures from my black beauty: unbleached shoot with carlisha shanae. during the shoot, several people asked me if i modeled, and i shyly told them no. with my height and body type, it’s a common question, and i’m usually too embarrassed to tell folks that it was always my dream. growing up in a small town, being a fashion model didn’t seem possible, so i tucked those dreams away and pursued a career as an attorney. the first picture is a reminder that while i may not be a runway model, politics & fashion provides me a creative outlet that’s just as significant. it’s never too late to chase your dreams.
