my style is often an odd mix. i love wax prints and west-african inspired designs. most days i wear pearls, but i’m far from dainty. bright colors rule my wardrobe, and i have a serious love affair with primary colors. for example, i’ve worn some iteration of orange, green and blue three days this week. my favorite shoes are oxfords, loafers and pointed flats. my favorite jewelry is chunky. my favorite clothing is separates that i mix and match. in light of the foregoing, it’s no surprise that j.crew’s spring 2013 lookbook is pinned to my refrigerator. it makes me happy.
