angie, kdj, and i had a great time last saturday at the summer spirit festival at merriweather post pavilion. estelle’s performance gained her a new fan *points at self*, chuck brown’s band was the highlight of the night, common kept the crowd on its feet, and my dear erykah badu’s performance was far too short. for some people, an outdoor event in august may not sound like fun, but i had a blast!
