raise your hand if white walls make you feel like you’re trapped in an institution *raises hand* paint isn’t always a great option as a renter — who wants to paint the walls back before moving?!? however, stripes can add some color without as much work.
i created this simple black and white wall by first separating equal portions using simple masking tape. the trick is to make the lines as straight as possible, so get bae (or a level) to help out. also be sure to have a ruler or tape measure handy to ensure your sections are the same distance apart.
voila! using a medium size brush and small roller, it only took about an hour to paint the wall. let it dry COMPLETELY before removing the tape.
