The Monthly Edit: December Faves

i’ve been knee deep in videos from my favorite you tubers: dani’s dish, tamira jarrel, lizzy hayfield and more. i live for dani’s and tamira’s faves and thought i’d give it a try on politics & fashion. let me know what you think and if there are products you’d like me to review.

i wandered into the aesop store when i was in miami only because the minimalist decor was calling my name — i had no idea what they sold. what i found was a modern apothecary with glass bottles and cool ingredients like parsley seed. the sales associate loaded me up with samples, and i’ve been in love ever since. but there’s a problem. aesop products are an investment, and i made sure to get through every last sample before purchasing my favorite¬†parsley seed mask.

it’s called a “facial cleansing mask” and goes on super smoothly. it has clay to pull out impurities, aloe vera to make sure your skin isn’t left feeling tight and rose hip and parsley for a healthy dose of anti-oxidents. most importantly, it does wonders for oily/combo skin.

i’m also diggin ro’s argan skin conditioner from lush. it’s a hydrating body lotion that you apply in the shower. believe it or not, when you get out, no additional lotion or body oil is necessary. the ingredients are lovely: cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, almond oil, argan oil and fresh roses. as with all lush products, it’s 100% natural.

one time for nars’ new velvet lip glides. they feel like satin and the two deepest colors (toy and area) are my absolute faves. i’m always here for a dark brown nude or vampy look and both colors are right in my lane. the best part is they go on like a gloss, but give you full coverage like a lipstick. i hope nars releases a set because i’d love to try each color.

anarchy street is winning, especially with their gold pieces. i’m diggin minimal accessories these days and swear i need the entire inventory. i grabbed a new pair of earrings on black friday, and they’re the perfect length for turtlenecks this season. shop anarchy street and enjoy 20% off with code: TASHIRA20

my love for diptyque continues with my new favorite fragrance santal. it’s a fresh, beachy scent that’s my jam. plus, i’ve been saving my diptyque jars for odds and ends like bobby pins. for more on diptyque check out my post on why i joined the diptyque choir here.

what’s on your list of faves for the month?

Great gift deas! I’m loving the diptyque candles too!!! They are smaller than what I would normally purchase but they are the real deal. I burn mine only for a few minutes, extinguish it, and the fragrance lasts for hours. I can’t say that about my other candles.
