Why An African City Is Everything You Need and More

An African City is Back for Season 2

confession, i didn’t start watching sex and the city until the reruns. i vaguely remember people’s fascination with carrie bradshaw and her cronies while the show was on the air, but for the most part none of my girlfriends (mostly people of color in their 20s) were big fans. you know why? we didn’t see our reflections. we weren’t white women living in nyc who could afford $900 designer shoes.

an african city fills this void by serving the real lives of young sisters living, working, thriving and looking for love in accra, ghana. finally back for season 2, get ready to binge watch the entire series. aside from the witty and relatable storyline, peep the fashion. the slayage is oh so real.
